Artist's Comments
I was tinkering with my 4GB Flash drive when I figured, why not make my drive distinctively personalized. This is the end result of tinkering with a paper cutter and steel reinforced putty. painting and spray-painting took another 10minutes.
On the design is a modified staff of Aesculapius. One of the serpents becomes a branch which bloom with laurel leaves and ultimately becomes the serpent's wings. Both are entwined around a staff which become a scalpel, the symbol of my trade. A stylized letter M (my initials.hehehe.) lies at the base of the flash drive cap. This is a picture with the cap opened for plug and play access. It was suggested that I sell these on eBay. But I wouldnt know how these personalized flash drives would cost. |
